If you don't know the replacement part number, follow these steps to choose the right cartridge:

1. Measure the outside diameter of the cartridge in inches (±1/16).
2. Measure the overall length of the cartridge in inches (±1/16), including the end caps (excluding any handles or strings).
3. If the top and/or bottom is open, measure the inside diameter of the opening (±1/16 inch). If the end cap is closed, make note of its identifying features (e.g., "Handle", "Cone").

Each cartridge has a filtration area of 115 sq. ft., with a 4-pack providing 460 sq. ft. of coverage.

3. Torn pleats: If the fabric is torn or has a fuzzy appearance, the cartridge's effectiveness has been compromised, and it should be replaced.
4. Crushed cartridge: When the inner structure has been compromised, and the cartridge resembles a crushed can, it's time for a replacement.
